We can separate two different scenarios in licensing the DVO plugins for our Ultima/Boutique systems. The first one is the most simple, licensing in a single standalone system with only a local license. The second one will cover the installation of the license in a more complex system with floating licenses and a license server.
1.- Installing the DVO license in a Standalone System.
- Open the SGO Activation Tool and log in, then go to the "Advanced Mode"
- In the systems section select your local system and drag and drop the DVO license from the "UNASSIGNED LICENSES" section. You'll be asked to confirm, click "Yes" to proceed.
- After a few seconds (depending on your internet connection) the license will be removed from the "UNASSIGNED LICENSES" section and added to the Active Licenses section of the selected (local) system. You might need to restart the computer after that for the local license to be updated.
2.- Installing the DVO license in a Enviroment with a License Server.
In this second situation it is important to understan that although the Mistika license could be a floating one (installed in a server and accessed by the clients through the network), the DVO license can only be a local one so we need to do things slightly differently.
- Open the SGO Activation Tool in the local system where we want to install the DVO license (not in the license server system) and log in, then go to the "Advanced Mode"
- In the systems section select the system where you want to install the license and drag and drop the DVO license from the "UNASSIGNED LICENSES" section. You'll be asked to confirm, click "Yes" to proceed.
- After a few seconds (depending on your internet connection) you'll get a warning about installing the licnese in a "non local" system and the license will be removed from the "UNASSIGNED LICENSES" section and added to the Active Licenses section of the selected system. You might need to restart the computer after that for the local license to be updated.
- If you have more than one "client" systems to license you'll have to repeat this procedure for each of them (doing everything from each computer).
